Wrote and edited articles for national food, lifestyle and home/garden brands, as well as national associations. In 2012, the combined ordering circulation of the publications that used content I wrote reached over 1.2 billion impressions.

 

  • Ghostwriter for three syndicated columns, including “Mix it Up with Jenny” for Nestlé. I helped grow annual impressions to 90 million.

  • Consulted with clients and sales associates on article themes, recipes and photography to help the projects have strong editorial appeal.

  • Wrote project proposals and copy for spec layouts as tools to help secure sales.

  • Researched and presented a company-wide report on culinary trend mapping and consumer attitudes about functional foods, and showed how each department could leverage this information to improve our product and reassert our position as food content experts.

Developed and wrote copy for marketing campaigns, promotional videos and radio spots. Wrote and/or edited organization and staff fundraising letters, and edited a teen-written newsletter.
